My Post-Nerf Shock-Axe Build
Okay the first thing I had to do was decide on an armor set that would meet my energy and defesive needs. I decided on full Dragon armor (90 AL) because of the extra armor vs. elemental attacks since I have no absorbtion versus that type of damage. For my weapons and offhand I went with a Armor+5(enchanted) Health+45(enchanted) +12 energy pvp air offhand and a shocking 15^50 axe of fortitude. My secondary set was the +30hp, +1 air magic off hand and a zealos pvp axe 15^50 +30hp.
Att ponts:
Air Magic: 9
Strength: 10
Axe Mastery: 16
Skills:
Eviscerate {E}
Executioners Strike
Axe Rake
Frenzy
Shock
Sprint
Conjure Lightning
Rez Sig
I went with no shield in this build becasue the damage absorbtion on them is useless.
Critique plz

Conjure Lightning... cos that'll make a huge difference to your Adren spike? Try Tactics and Healing Signet. Nothing wrong with giving a monk a break.
Also why are you calling it a post nerf build, because of the shield update. Then not taking a shield anyway? Good luck shunting off the extra ele damage from Starburst/Flame Burst/Inferno with no shield and Frenzy.

If +40AL past 60 is half damage...that makes the 16 from a shield a considerable chunk of protection, no?
I don't see this working all that great, maybe it's just me. I mean, the lightning will work well against warriors, but you're not supposed to fight them until the very end. I just feel like air is specced too high for the energy usage of the build. I don't want to do the math, but it seems like a bit much just to cast Conjure and Shock every now and then.
